I recently learned about Rice changing her life and writing books with a holier theme than vampires. Not sure if that's quite right, but you know what I mean.

ReplyDeleteYes, when the first Christ the Lord book came out, I was very intrigued with her personal story. She did a really good 2-part interview a while back on the Focus on the Family radio show. While our theologies might not exactly match up, she has clearly had a life-change and wants to serve God now.

It must be nice to have a mother-in-law that gives you books! I'm pretty sure mine thinks that reading is a waste of time, and that I'm crazy for preferring new books to new shoes. Oh well, her loss, right?

Yeah, my mother-in-law loves to shop for me. There are all sorts of books that show up in my house from her! And she likes to raid my Amazon Wish List (brazenly posted in my left sidebar) at Christmastime!
